CDL Sugaring Equipment is a fully integrated company that develops, manufactures, and distributes maple sugaring equipment. Our service department plays a vital role in supporting our customers and ensuring product performance season after season. We’re currently looking for a Service Technician with electrical knowledge and/or TIG welding experience to join our team in St. Albans, Vermont. Burner experience is also an asset.

You’ve taken on these challenges as a Service Technician:
You’re responsible for completing service calls, repairs, and custom work either on-site or in-shop
You assess issues, bring the right parts and tools, and follow a clear service schedule
You complete service orders and ensure timely ticket closures
You troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, electrical systems, and welding tasks as needed
You provide great customer support—even under pressure
You pitch in with shipping support when required
Your profile as a Service Technician:
✔ You’re a self-starter with a strong work ethic
✔ You have hands-on experience with mechanical systems like pumps and motors
✔ You’re comfortable troubleshooting electrical components
✔ You know (or are eager to learn) maple sugaring equipment: RO systems, vacuum pumps, evaporators
✔ You’re solution-oriented, calm under pressure, and detail-focused
✔ You care about delivering quality service
